Centers for Disease Control and Prevention: Your Online Source for Credible Health Information
CDC.gov is CDC's primary online communication channel, providing users with information on many issues including Diseases and Conditions and Healthy Living. Designed for multiple audiences, including individuals interested in health issues, CDC.gov has a searchable A-Z index on topics of popular and critical importance to CDC's public health mission.
Coalition of Skin Diseases
Coalition of Skin Diseases is voluntary coalition of patient advocacy groups addressing the needs and concerns of millions of people whose lives are affected by skin disease. Its mission is to advocate on behalf of individuals with skin disease by supporting basic science and clinical research, fostering physician and patient education, generating awareness of skin disease, supporting the growth of member organizations through the sharing of mutual concerns which may increase the pace of discovery or a cure while improving the quality of life for those affected. American Skin Association is an affiliate member.

MedlinePlus is a service of the U.S. National Library of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health. It will direct you to information to help answer health questions by bringing together authoritative information from NLM, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and other government agencies and health-related organizations. Preformulated MEDLINE searches are included in MedlinePlus and give easy access to medical journal articles. MedlinePlus also has extensive information about drugs, an illustrated medical encyclopedia, interactive patient tutorials, and latest health news.

National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases is part of National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services. National Organization for Rare Disorders
National Organization for Rare Disorders is a federation of voluntary health organizations dedicated to helping people with rare "orphan" diseases and assisting the organizations that serve them. It is committed to the identification, treatment, and cure of rare disorders through programs of education, advocacy, research, and service. Its Rare Disease Database has reports on more than 1,150 diseases and its Organizational Database has more than 2,000 patient organizations and other sources of help.
