American Skin Association Announces Receipt of 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator for 5th Consecutive Year

New York, March 6 - American Skin Association (ASA) announced today that it has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America's largest independent evaluator of charities, for the fifth consecutive year.

"American Skin Association is proud to receive the four-star distinction from Charity Navigator," said Joyce Weidler, ASA's Managing Director. "We strive to contain costs while growing revenue in all economic conditions. It is vitally important that we maximize funding for our medical research and public school education programs."

Receiving four out of a possible four stars from Charity Navigator demonstrates that American Skin Association excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully managing organizational finances in an efficient and effective manner. This rating consistency is an exceptional feat, especially given the economic challenges many charities have had to face in the last year.
